Painting  is a way of getting to know a place. So many of us  are on the move in these harried times, I hope I might be able to stop  you for a moment to linger over the light and colors from places I've  visited. Maybe you've been there. If you haven't, maybe you'll want to  go.

I  love painting reflective materials such as glass and metal contrasted  with delicate complex materials such as cloth or flowers.   Strong  values and high contrast create drama  to  catch the  viewer's gaze.  Its an invitation to the viewer.... to come closer.
